Task 1: Analyse a short film

Storyline: A short film deals with the obsession of body image.Story started with anna choosing dresses cause she's so excited for the first date with henry but she's confusing because she can't put on any beautiful dresses on her fat body. She become nervous and nervous as the time ticked by but she still couldn't found out a nice dress and so she deice to have some makeup. She stand infront of the mirror and wipe on so much of BB cream but the pimples on her face seems like didn't work.She felt disappointed and use her hand to cover all over her face. On that time she realised that she's allowed to sculpt the shape of her face that whatever she want. Anna was happy that she can finally become so slim she started create any perfect body shape that she want. Eventually,henry reached. Anna opened the door but she's still the same. chubby and fat. She can't. she can't changed herself.....

Henry smiled. They hang out together.

Moral: You didn't have to change yourself. You're born to be true not perfect. Don't try to hurt yourself just to let people like you. Always remember that you deserve more :) and furthermore fat is not a shame . It's cute!

Movie title: The green mile
Storyline: Paul is a prison officer and he had seen so many death row having their punishment so he try his best not to abuse and sarcasm them, he think that they are already got their retribution in their las life so he decide to give them some respect. One day john ,a giant black man is told by raping and killing two little white girls ,because of his size of body everyone seem so alert of him,however john is a person who is shy and soft spoken. Surprisingly, john have a power. He can cure Paul’s wound ,also rescue a mouse that is dead and help an ill women as he can. Paul and john become friends in a slowly way. Wharton is a prisoner who is bad temperature and violent, he touch of john’s arm one day and john suddenly can sense that what has Wharton had done in previous, john let the sickness regurgitates to percy, and then percy kill Wharton. Paul asked him why did he do that and john let Paul hold his hand and those thing proved that Wharton is a murdered that killed two little white girls.Last,is time for john to “the green mile”,he sit on the electric chair and his eyes full of tears same with Paul. They cant even helped him for run out of the prison but watching him accept the punishment.
Framing: 3 hours long.
Composition: Full shot. medium close up shot. extreme close up shot. my favourite part will be the full shot of the scene change back to the young Paul when he is still an officer and he walked through those prison room and all of the image change to the retirement home slowly,those effect and light giving people a feeling that time passes so fast……
Moral of the movie: In this movie, i knew that what are we have done before,we should paid. Everyone got their punishment at last and this movie just not only saying punishment but miracle too. It is wamhearted when you see a death mouse is being rescued by john. A prison always full of death but he is like giving a new life in this grey area. Paul and john created their friendship so carefully and they didn't talked much but in the ending, i can see the sadness in both eyes.Paul is getting tired of all of the death and punishment when he send john to the electric chair he started blame himself and he decide not to be a prison
 officer anymore. He has a long live after Paul has given him some of the power,but to the end all of his beloved passes away one by one, he has nothing left, just waiting for his turn. Fame and wealth isn’t important after I've watched this, those thing you should cherish should be everything that you loved so much.
